Through our unwavering commitment, Hope and Success For The People will provide, to the very best of its ability, a platform that nurtures passion, fosters personal growth, and equips individuals with the necessary tools and resources to achieve their dreams.
With unwavering dedication, HSFTP will empower people to embrace their unique talents, break barriers, and create a ripple effect of positive change in their communities and beyond. Together, we (peers, peer professionals, consultants, clinical professionals, allies, donors, supporters, community leaders, government officials, etc.) will all build a world where hope and success are not just aspirations, but a way of life.
Vision Statement
To create a world where every individual is empowered with hope, driven by passion, and achieves unparalleled success in all aspects of life, one person at a time and one community at a time. Creating safe and comfort spaces for all who wish to be engaged, supported, and validated without judgment or condemnation.
Principles of Peer Support
Recovery-oriented: Peer workers hold out hope to those they serve, partnering with them to envision and achieve a meaningful and purposeful life. Peer workers help those they serve identify and build on strengths and empower them to choose for themselves, recognizing that there are multiple pathways to recovery. Person-centered: Peer recovery support services are always directed by the person participating in services.
Voluntary: Peer workers are partners or consultants to those they serve. Participation in peer recovery support services is always contingent on peer choice. Relationship-focused: The relationship between the peer worker and peer is respectful, trusting, empathetic, collaborative, and mutual. Trauma-informed: Peer recovery support utilizes a strength-based approach and creates opportunities for survivors to rebuild a sense of control and empowerment.
Value Statement
Hope and Success For The People brings integrity and mutual respect to behavioral health recovery and empowerment while supporting peers, who are front and center of their own recovery. With guidance and empowerment to be gained from all people to all people, peers improve quality of life, both individually and collectively.

What do we the peers want to accomplish?

1. Get people housed and stay housed. 2. End workplace abuse and get laws on the books in every state to protect victims and survivors of workplace abuse. 3. Peers can choose when and where to receive support. 4. Every peer who wants to participate in various webinars, trainings, conferences, etc. should have the opportunity without cost being a factor. 5.
